As the midnight moon disappeared behind a cloud

A few days ago, a Turkish friend of mine suddenly visited my house after a long time.
He said he sent messages to me on Facebook.
Unfortunately, as the Japanese proverb of "A poor man has no time to spare.", I have little time to look at SNS for now....orz
Anyway, I was delighted to see the reunion after a long absence.
On the other hand, I felt regrettable that my situation would have been better.
However, he went out after saying that he would place the car in the proper place, and then he did not come back.
I could not get in touch with him.
I felt like one of famous classical Japanese poems.
Meguri-ai te Mi shi ya sore to mo Waka nu ma ni Kumo-gakure ni shi Yowa no tsuki kana

I met you by chance but you hurried back before I don't make sure that you are my old friend, as well as the midnight moon I came across disappeared behind a cloud before I recognize it.

Sacrificing everything to give priority to waiting for returnees than welcoming newcomers

Some days ago, I decided to sell most of my book collection.
It was because I judged that the value of books has changed due to the spread of the Internet and the decline of the global academic level in recent years, in addition to the need for immediate money.
As a result, my collection had many specialized books that did not fit the needs of the town's shopping street, so it did not mean to sell as many books as I thought.
However, the student who saw I indicated household goods other than books one by one and told the purchasing shop owner "This can be sold. That can also." seemed to have received a lot of shock.

The students who have remained here by me all the time while the number of students has decreased in a disappointing way have known that I have given priority to waiting for the students who will return despite reluctantly leaving more than welcoming new students.
I think that this time it was an opportunity to symbolically show that I have sacrificed everything for that purpose.
And I said to them.
"You can be sure that your teacher makes it for you just like did for them."

I have been telling things like it is quite natural as a teacher and a leader, not to be awesome, that Janusz Korczak did for his students.
I think that I could show a little that it is not just a word.

America! America! God shed His grace on thee!

Barack and Michelle Obama left the White House ALIVE and smiling especially.
It must be the happiest moment for the United States of America in their history when the helicopter flew away beyond the skies safely.

O beautiful for spacious skies

Above the fruited plain!

O beautiful for patriot dream

O beautiful for heroes proved

America! America! God shed His grace on thee!

This is the article which I wrote for a former student.
She is half African-American and half Japanese.
Eight years ago, when Mr. Barack Obama became the first black president in American history, she told me "I am happy for SOME reason."
So I wrote this because I wanted to congratulate her for SOME reason :)

Putin arrives in Japan

Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin arrived in Japan today.
He seems to get swollen in the photo and videos.
I guess he may have made a big decision in mind.
I wonder whether something will happen or not tomorrow.

Japanese lawmaker calls Obama a black slave and Japan the United States’ 51st state?

A remark of Kazuya Maruyama, a member of the Diet, caused a lot of controversy in Japan on 17 February.
A lot of news media reported that he had stated "A black slave had taken the presidency in the United States." and "We had better make Japan the United States’ 51st state."

Lawmaker calls Obama descendant of slaves

A Japanese politician mistakenly calls US President Barack Obama a descendant of slaves.

Posted by NTV News24 English on 2016年2月17日

But, in fact, he had stated as below:
We need to take "dynamic" ideas and discussions to reform the House of Councilors of Japan, in which we have the back-and-forth discussions for many decades without any solutions, for example,
  1. Many problems that we have would be solved if Japan became the United States’ 51st state.
  2. In the United States, people in the country’s founding era would have never thought that a black slave would become president. But now, a black man has become its president.

A lot of news media reported listening not to his whole remark accurately but to one or two sentences in it and criticized him a traitor and a racist.

I think that defining another's saying without listening accurately is the rudest behavior.

And I think that it have been a big problem for him to apologize about the remark.
Because it can be justification for defining another's saying without listening accurately.

Japanese students recently have a strong tendency to say "I can't answer this question" without listening or reading accurately.
It is sure for them to justify their behavior by the olders' behaviors and to decrease their own [academic abilities].
I reaffirm my determination to guard Awaya-Juku from the tendency and the other features that leads to decrease [academic abilities] of my students.

Independence, Independence, Independence, ... Happiness and Hope that Overflow My Heart! - Introduction of Japanese Music

It was a warm Valentine's Day like a day of spring yesterday.
I also had a warm gift until yesterday.
It was a great development of my whole student on independence.

One of them wrote his determination to fulfill his hope of academic life at the university even if it will disappoint him despite dreaming it in his [essay].
I always tell them "The academic state all over the world seems to touch bottom."
But he goes beyond my words with understanding them to my joy :)

Another one told us that he had started to use a prep book in the marketplace not to go along with it but as a tool of his [study].
I always tell them "Prep books are made according to public. If you go along with the prep books, you will go the way of public, that is to say, the lowering of [academic ability] with lack of thinking. Pay attention to yourself if you use any of prep books."
But he also goes beyond my words with understanding them to my joy :)

Besides the younger one who is inspired by the olders has chosen images to place in his first [essay] on the website taking proper care of not only consistency with the content but also impression to readers.
He covers cruelty to animals and takes proper care cautiously not to label any people voluntarily.
He also goes beyond my supposition and reaches a higher dimension with his own independence to my joy :)

And furthermore, each of them finds the praise to another encouraging himself on a case-by-case basis and creates a synergy effect.

I want to celebrate this great delight and hopefulness which they have brought and present them with the song suitable for them.
I choose "Roman Hikō" (Released on 8 April 1990) by Kome Kome Club though it is very famous in Japan.
But in fact I don't know this song very much, so I have searched the Internet for information about this song and have found that Debbie Gibson, an American singer, had covered it in English.
Here I place both the videos and lyrics.

Morever, it comes to Debbie Gibson, I remember the song "Lost in Your Eyes."
I was impressed by the beauty of this song when I first listened to it on a TV program, maybe on 10 May 1989.

Miki Imai "PRIDE" - Introduction of Japanese Music

I am listening to this song on this video these days.
Miki Imai, one of Japanese famous singers, sings a song called "PRIDE" (Released on 4 November 1996).
She sings I spent a lot of time in love, tears and prayers to stars and the moon. But now, my love for you is my "PRIDE".

Counterargument to an ostrich policy (let’s-don’t-rock-the-boat principle) believer

It is true that Awaya-Juku has much financial difficulty.
But it is like putting the cart before the horse to consider it as a problem to be avoided.
Because the juku would have proved the one with ostrich policy (let’s-don’t-rock-the-boat principle), stagnation of [academic abilities] and veneer pseudo "trust relationships" though would have been in a better financial condition if the difficulty had been avoided.
I have sounded the alarm about ostrich policy to show the impossibility of avoidance of this situation in the process of fulfilling the one with [gratitude gifts] system, development of [academic abilities] and true [trust relationships] in this region dominated by ostrich policy.

Gracides the Lady Mantis weakened

Tuesday, 5 Jan. 2016, it has been three days since Gracides the Lady Mantis got weak suddenly.
She quickly went stale.
She has spent more and more time in being dismissive of drinking and eating and exhausted with no vigor.
Long time.

Baptism

26 years ago today, on 1 August 1989, I got baptized as the beginning of my own Christianity.
Now I'm not in that, nevertheless I'm proud of my hope for mutual faith.
Today I began to gather my lost sheep with my formal declaration.

We sang in harmony the best ever and "I ♥ YOU"

We, I and my two students, whom I gave nicknames of “Bidon”("metal barrel" in Turkish) and “Boncuk”("bead" in Turkish) to mention our blogposts, sang in harmony the best ever on Monday the 8th v(^^)(^^)(^^)v
Especially the song “Yoru wa Hoşi wo Nagamete okure” of Tegomass we sang again and again :)
And we talked about trying to harmonize with Tegomass's songs “Sayonara ni Sayonara” “Kiss (Kaerimichi no Love Song)” “Hanamuke” which Bidon introduced to us :)
Singing in harmony strengthens togetherness, willingness, positive attitude and concentration more and more d(^^)b

We appear to start up not "School Idol Project" but "Juku Idol Project"!?
Despite two of us are handsomes, and one of us is bald...!? :P

I first learn Tegomass's covering the song “Şımarık” of Turkish singer Tarkan.

It has a different feel, isn't it?

Additionally, Bidon said that I made a good shot at his message given to the ping-pong ball with "I ♥ YOU" written on it on the post :)
I made the pedestal for it singing songs :)

The episode #3 we have already reached

I mentioned a Japanese animation “Love Live!” to my students on Saturday the 6th again.
And I told them "The we of today seem like this."

adapted from 「【ラブライブ!】第3話 感想 この作品にハマるきっかけとなった個人的神回!!」の画像 : あにこ便

One student was surprised to look at this picture.
But when I told them "This is a scene of the episode #3.", they seemed to realize it.

Yes, the episode #3 we have already reached.
The drama has already been in progress.

They had already seemed to realize that they must take voluntary actions when I had mentioned “Love Live!” at first or explained the plot I had understood watching the video I had mentioned before.

Needless to say, I don't want to force anyone who has no want to come back.
They understand the need of the discrimination.

Whoever wants to come back will feel alienated from us with sadness as if treated as an outsider unless invited as this drama progresses.
Then we remembered each and every thirty students plus especially one person individually.

And I told them that superficial relationship means only performance concealing true hearts - self deceptions -, someone may seriously have no desire of superficial association and no courage to have heart-to-heart communication in spite of their invitation like the characters' of “Love Live!” and they would clear the way for the trust relationship, which is the supreme purpose for me to restart Awaya-Juku, when they took their courage to face and show their true hearts and caused problems to overcome.
So we may have reached the entrance of the trust relationship yet.

One student left this here.
I call him "Bidon" in this blog with a wordplay in Japanese and Turkish.
I think that Bidon shows everybody who come here his welcome message.
